Excuse me, Rude!
Microsoft patents the mother of all adware systems
Microsoft has filed another patent, this one for an "advertising framework" that uses "context data" from your hard drive to show you advertisements and "apportion and credit advertising revenue" to ad suppliers in real time.Wow, so M$ wants to own the super adware patent!
The application, filed in 2006, describes a multi-faceted, robust ad-delivering system that lives on a "user computer, whether it's part of the OS, an application or integrated within applications." "Applications, tools, or utilities may use an application program interface to report context data tags such as key words or other information that may be used to target advertisements," says the filing. "The advertising framework may host several components for receiving and processing the context data, refining the data, requesting advertisements from an advertising supplier, for receiving and forwarding advertisements to a display client for presentation, and for providing data back to the advertising supplier."ArsTechnica

One thing that drives me crazy is when I’m on a elevator and arrive at my floor only to find that someone is standing right in front of the doors and tries to barge right in the elevator. C’mon man, you know that you have to let people off before you can get on, its common courtesy. Furthermore, don’t assume that I owe you an apology for being in your way when you’re the one who stormed into the elevator without even looking up.
What is with most people nowadays? Do we all just think that we are the most important person around? Is everyone so ideal and individualistic? What gives?
My mother and father taught me well when I was young. They taught me respect, courtesy and chivalry. Are all three dead now? I think they are for a lot of people. If we’re wanting a better world, a better place for our children; shouldn’t we be practicing these fundamental things?
