Hi,

First of all, great job with BlueQ – many thanks.

The finishing touch (for us) would be some way to place the name of the author for each post in the header for that post, and I can’t find a way to do it. Can you offer any advice please?

You see, my wife doesn’t want to be associated with my weird geeky ramblings, so it would be nice if my name appeared next to my posts. That way my wife gets plausible deniability :-)

Bob,
I’d like to give you a specific time, or even a guess at when this will be available. The problem is…I just can’t.

Sure I can fill out these text boxes easily with my voice dictation software, but coding XHTML and CSS is much harder with said software.

I will update this theme, but with the Carpal Tunnel problems I’ve had in both hands, I’ve found it quite difficult to devote any “real” time to fixing problems in my code.

My goal is to get this completed right about the time WP goes to 2.3. With any luck (and possibly some divine intervention) I can complete it by then and have widget support included too.

Which file would I look in to remove the “categories” and “comments” links under every post title?

Chris,
There are a million ways to place any logo you wish in the header area. My “Q” is placed in the upper left corner using CSS. Check the style.css file for “#headerimg” and declare whatever image suits you and modify the other settings accordingly.

Is there any way to replace the heading title text with a logo?
I’ve tried having no title text but the post title then moves up into the header :(

The style.css doesn’t contain a #content .entry so I added it to the:

/* MAIN CONTENT SECTION */

and it works good with a 100 pixels between each post.

Sure, you can add “padding-bottom” to #content .entry in your style.css file.
Also, if you want to space your asides further apart the same applies. Add “padding-bottom” to ul.asides.

This will add a padding to both the asides entries and the regular entries to achieve what you want.

Anyway to add space at the bottom of a post so they aren’t so jammed together ?
